Eligibility – The contest is open to the general public. There is no fee to enter.
How to Enter – Entry is made by the submission of a picture of your face mask using the submission form from Google Forms.  South Burlington Rotary Club will approve each entry. South Burlington Rotary reserves the right to exclude any entry. By submitting a mask picture to the Google Forms all participants give permission to post their photo on social media when submitting their entry. South Burlington Rotary reserves the right to cancel the contest with no notice.
Timing – Participants may submit their photos of face masks from 11/12/20 – 11/29/20.  The finals will occur 12/1/20 – 12/7/20.
About the Masks- The face mask entries must be family-friendly. We encourage masks that show the designers creativity and originality. Complete DIY mask creation and or enhanced blank store-bought masks will be accepted.
All pictures of face masks will be approved by Rotary before being made public. Rotary reserves the sole right to approve or not approve the publication of any entry. Submitting the picture confirms that the entrant will allow South Burlington Rotary to use the image in their social media platforms and on their website.
Judging- South Burlington Rotary Club will judge all masks and will choose the finalists for each category. The face masks chosen for the finals will be judged on their creativity, originality, fun qualities, and distinctive qualities. Five face masks will be chosen as finalists in each category. The five finalist’s entries will be posted on Facebook where the public will be able to vote on their favorite face mask. The face masks with the most votes in each category from 12/1/20 – 12/7/20 will be declared the winners.
Categories – Entries can be made into one of three age categories – Elementary, Middle / High School and Adult.
Prizes – The winner of each category will receive a $100 Amazon gift card. Winners will be announced 12/8/2020 or as soon as South Burlington Rotary can decide after the end of the contest.
