Rotarians at work
Rotarians at work
Rotarians love to get their hands dirty and make things happen in their community. This typically means getting outside to build or improve physical elements of our community. Most of these projects take just a few hours when we all get together - as they say, "Many hands make light work".

Wood 4 Good
Since the pandemic, the South Burlington Rotary Club has helped split wood for the Wood4Good organization. Wood4Good is a Chittenden County Wood Bank committed to reducing heat insecurity for families in our state. We value our community and the people who live here, and are committed to helping as many people as possible stay warm in the cold winter months.

Green Up Vermont
Every year on the first Saturday in May, the South Burlington Rotary Club supports Green Up Vermont by either organizing the South Burlington City effort to pick up litter on our roads OR going out there in groups to pick up litter as a group.

SB Cemetery Clean Up
The South Burlington Rotary Club has assisted the South Burlington Cemetery commission to clean up the two city-owned cemeteries - Eldridge (airport) and Shelburne Road.

Camp DREAM Clean Up
Camp DREAM is a camp in Fairfield, VT used by the DREAM Program - a nonprofit youth service organization committed to providing high quality mentoring, adventure, and out-of-school enrichment programs to youth across Vermont, Boston, and Philadelphia.. Our club helped out in the spring of 2024 to get it ready for campers.

Helping out in the kitchen to support Scouting
South Burlington Rotary Club supports four scouting organizations and is always willing to step into the kitchen to lend support making and/ or serving dinner. We serve pasta and salad at the Cub Scout Pack 678 Blue and Gold ceremony each year. We also work in the kitchen each year for the Troop 6110 Pasta Dinner Fundraiser (picture left).
