Our Scouts come from many communities in the greater South Burlington area. Service, community engagement and leadership development become increasingly important parts of the program as youth lead their own activities. Pasta Fundraising dinner for South Burlington Girls Scouting Troop 6110. And we’re proud to be part of helping this incredible community thrive. The Alliance provides basic services, and connects Afghans to state and local service providers. The Alliance also helps preserve cultural traditions and connects the growing community through celebrations and community gatherings. .Molly Gray will speak about the Afghan Family Resettlement program.

12 Dec. 2024 D Thomas Toner, Professor of Music at UVM Percussionist with VSO Dec. 12, 2024 7:30 a.m. D. Thomas Toner is a Professor of Music at the University of Vermont where he teaches percussion and conducts the Percussion Ensemble, Concert Band, and Wind Ensemble. Dr. Toner is the Principal Percussionist of the Vermont Symphony Orchestra, with whom he has performed a wide variety of music. He has also appeared with the Moscow Chamber Orchestra, the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra, the Massachusetts Chamber Players, the Bermuda Philharmonic, the Rhode Island Philharmonic, and many other ensembles in the northeast.
